We received my anniversary blue star sapphire set in white gold this week. It exceeded our expectations. The ring is so much prettier than the CADs implied. The royal blue cabochon with the 6-ray star gives off a luminescence that glows as if lit from within. Even with indirect light, the star refracts light and provides the depth of a starry twilight sky. When direct light hits the star, it glows like a train’s headlight – in a great way. The bezel setting with delicate daisy fret-work under the diamond girdled head is very elegant and feminine. The setting is balanced to hold the 3.5 carat star sapphire.

I have made a few purchases from NSC, and each experience has been outstanding. The customer service is stellar. The CAD renderings are accurate, except they understate the depth of color and beauty. After listening to my desires, Caitlin referred us to view a few stone and setting combinations. The staff is knowledgeable can make recommendations on style and size of settings to compliment the chosen stone. This internet purchase was easy and I was able to make my purchase with confidence. The ring arrived on time as promised.
