My experience with the Natural Sapphire Company as a first-time buyer has been completely superb. I needed a very high-quality star sapphire of specific dimensions for a handicapped relative’s ring. I also hadn’t finalized whether a round stone or an oval would work best. So I got one of each knowing I’d have to send one back anyway which Mary was fine with. The round didn’t work so I ordered an alternate stone from a different source for my jeweler to compare before making a final decision. Both Su Su and Mary were incredibly generous in allowing a longer viewing period when the alternate stone got temporarily delayed in customs. When in did finally show up, it couldn’t hold a candle to the incredible beauty of the Natural Sapphire Company‘s stone.
Although it is worth being extremely careful when purchasing a high-quality gem online, the videos make a huge difference in being more certain that still images have not been Photoshopped, which is very common with many sellers. NSC still photos and videos are VERY accurate, although if I had a single suggestion for improvement it would be this: particularly in the case of paler colored star sapphires, the overhead lights do reflect strongly on the polished cab surface making it more difficult to see the quality of asterism movement as the table rotates. I’d love it also if a higher percentage of the star sapphire stones each had its own video. For an online potential purchaser, nothing makes a bigger difference than seeing the stone in motion and also photos with a human hand for color/size reference. So if you are considering a purchase with this company, rest assured that you will be treated with professionalism, integrity, and kindness and these gemstones are so carefully selected that you will be hard pressed to find better anywhere.

Best Wishes,
H.Y.
