I bought a few items from the Natural Sapphire/Emerald/Ruby Company so adding a few notes on the overall service.

Firstly, the website is very useful, tastefully designed, not the usual stock photography “retail” look but more appealing which adds to the browsing experience, (I work in software so I notice these things). But more importantly, the site is maximally useful in terms of content: there’s photos but also real video clips of each item on a real hand rotating it gently, so you can get a much better idea what you’re dealing with, plus interactive 3D wireframes from scane, and lab reports as available per item. Also has a nice “compare” feature to put multiple items in a grid to help choosing. The informational section is a good read on the history, science of gemstones, how valuation works for the different stone types, etc.

As for a live viewing, it was easy to set up an appointment with the contact person Neli. The visit was actually quite useful with no pressure, ample time to calmly inspect the stones I had asked about and discuss and ask questions in a quiet dedicated office space (and that decor!). Charlotte was very helpful and easy to work with and discuss the stones, market trends etc. Overall it was worth the time to look at things in person, compare them and think through what I really wanted and decide on the purchases I made.
