We were looking for a teal blue sapphire in an antique style setting to celebrate a big wedding anniversary. After checking out several online venues (Etsy, eBay, 1stdibs, estate jewelry stores, and other sapphire-specialty jewelers), we stumbled upon the Natural Sapphire Company. They have a wide selection of unique-colored sapphires at very competitive prices. With the help of a 15% off sale on sapphires, we bought a beautiful 2.96 carat, eye clean, greenish blue sapphire for just under $2,000!
To help us decide between gemstones, Erika took photos of the finalists on her hand under natural light. The NSC also has a great selection of settings. We saw computer renderings of the gem we picked in multiple settings to decide which one we liked best. The final ring in a lovely antique style setting was less than $4K, an amazing value.
