As a former gem cutter, I am pretty demanding as to who I will work with and trust.  Livia Brode exceeded my expectations completely.  Livia has the patience of a saint.  She was always a delight to chat with over the three week period when I was reviewing various stones with her.    

As a gemologist, she is extremely knowledgeable and I felt that her guidance and suggestions were spot on.  The 2.2 carat Intense Blue Sapphire was set in an elegant 18 carat white gold ring which my Russian fiancée now treasures.  She also appreciated the detailed gemologist’s report that Livia provided on the stone for insurance purposes.  Thanks again Livia and I will be back for the matching earrings in a few months..
