“Blue thou art, intensely blue; Flower, whence came thy dazzling hue?" -James Montgomery. If only this distinguished British poet, who died in 1854, had the opportunity to present his inquiry to this remarkable sapphire and diamond pendant set in 14K white gold. Perhaps he would receive an answer. The blossom’s center, comprised of high quality F color diamonds from Israel, is surrounded by five natural heat treated pear shaped blue sapphires from Ceylon. Encircling the petals is a vibrant halo of matching diamond rounds. The flower upon which he based his poem more than a century and a half ago must have been very much like this lovely pendant for they are both timeless and a wonder to behold.
