18K Yellow Gold Three Stone Ring Setting
From the riverbeds and mountain veins where nature first laid down color and crystal, this three stone ring begins its story. A sapphire, ruby, emerald, or a gemstone chosen by you starts as rough, ancient matter, each facet of its history shaped by pressure and time, each color carrying cultural stories and meanings from distant mines to modern hands. The three stone composition itself speaks of a journey, the left stone echoing the past, the center stone standing in the present, and the right stone promising the future, a quiet narrative worn on the finger. Our artisans honor those origins by choosing stones with provenance, by cutting and polishing each pavilion so that the light that once nurtured the crystal can play through it again, and by setting the pieces in your choice of metals, rose gold, white gold, yellow gold, platinum, or mixed pairings such as white and yellow, or yellow and white, so that the metal becomes a complementary chapter in the jewel story. The side stones are true asscher octagon cuts, their step facets offering a refined, architectural sparkle, and they are secured with four prong settings that preserve their geometry while allowing their tables and pavilions to breathe.
The ring is custom made, and our design approach is both poetic and technical, focused on maximizing light exposure and gemstone brilliance through innovative setting techniques. The center head is raised on a finely engineered gallery, lifting the table to welcome light from every angle, while the open under gallery reduces visual obstruction so the pavilion can reflect and return light without barrier. Precision prong architecture uses tapered, low profile prongs where strength is needed, and minimal metal at the girdle where light passage is most critical, this balance preserves security while increasing fire and scintillation. The asscher octagon side stones are set slightly angled to mirror the center stone, creating reflective interplay between step facets and brilliant cuts, and the four prong mounts are placed to catch and redirect light into the stone, enhancing depth and contrast. Every transition from raw mineral to finished ring is tracked and refined, from cutter to polisher to setter, and the result is a meaningful, elegant piece that feels both timeless and personal, a custom made three stone ring that tells a life story, beautifully lit and carefully held.
