Born in the ancient gem gravels of Ceylon, this GIA certified white sapphire began as crystalline time, slowly forming under Sri Lanka’s warm earth before being carefully extracted by miners who know how to read the land. The stone arrived at our bench as a transparent, radiant cut marvel, weighing 8.03 carats, measuring 11.57 by 10.14 by 7.59 millimeters, with a near colorless saturation, very slightly included clarity, evaluated at eye level, and an excellent polish, no enhancement. Its provenance and GIA certification are a promise that what you see is a natural, untouched treasure, a sapphire that carries the island’s geology and the patience of its formation. Around its shoulders sit white trapezoid shaped natural diamonds totaling approximately 0.90 carats, graded VS1 and VS2 for clarity, and F for color, set to catch the eye without stealing the sapphire’s stage. The entire composition is forged in platinum 950, a metal chosen for its strength and cool sheen, which both protects the gem and amplifies its crystalline purity.
