At 1.25 carats with dimensions of 8.46 by 5.58 by 3.50 mm this pear shaped sapphire wears a mixed brilliant cut that was chosen to balance depth of color with lively brilliance, and its eye clean clarity at eye level and excellent polish allow the light to play through the stone like the monsoon sun through palm fronds.
