From the cool, monsoon fed gravels of Ceylon Sri Lanka this translucent multi color sapphire began its slow journey, buried in layers of ancient alluvial deposits where heat, pressure and time coaxed corundum into life, from a scatter of tiny crystals to this singular 26.14 carat gem, various shape and rough crystal cut, measuring 16.96 x 6.58 x 6.57 mm, clarity very slightly included evaluated at eye level, medium color intensity, excellent polish, no enhancement.
