The finished gem is a beautiful transparent 3.70 carat oval shape blue sapphire measuring 11.15 x 8.16 x 5.24 mm, cut to a mixed brilliant faceting to balance scintillation and depth. Evaluated at eye level, it carries a clarity grade of very slightly included, an intense color intensity that reads a vivid Ceylon blue, and an excellent polish that allows light to dance across each facet.
