2.05 Ct. Bluish Purple Sapphire from Tanzania

From the moment this 2.05 carat cushion shape sapphire was born in the mineral rich soils of Tanzania, its journey has been one of transformation, care, and intention. Unearthed by dedicated miners who know the land and the rhythm of the earth, the rough crystal carried a promise of color and clarity that our lapidaries could not ignore. At The Natural Sapphire Company we followed that promise from mine to studio, tracing the stone through careful heat treatment to stabilize and enhance its vivid bluish purple hue, then into the hands of master cutters who chose a mixed brilliant cut to maximize both sparkle and depth. Measuring 7.51 x 6.17 x 4.38 mm, transparent and luxuriously alive, this sapphire responds to light with a layered personality, showing a deep, saturated core and lively flashes at the edges, a visual story of its Tanzanian origin and the artisanal skill that brought it to life.

What makes this gem so compelling is the way its near flawless clarity, graded very very slightly included when evaluated at eye level, allows light to travel and refract without interruption, enhancing its beauty from every angle.
