At The Natural Sapphire Company we elected an emerald cut shape to honor the stone's transparent nature and intense color intensity, shaping it to precise dimensions of 7.48 by 6.39 by 3.67 millimeters, and polishing each facet to an excellent finish. The gem was heat treated to gently enhance and stabilize its rich bluish green tones, a traditional and transparent step in bringing out the best in Ceylon material, and evaluated as very very slightly included at eye level which means it reads as clean to the naked eye while retaining natural character under magnification.
