This cushion shaped gem began as a secret tucked into the ancient gravels of Montana, a place where glaciers and rivers once sorted the earth into treasures. Miners working those high plains learned to read the landscape and find the rare pockets where sapphires grow, slowly formed under pressure, then released by time into the world. This particular sapphire retained a distinct bluish green whisper of Montana when it arrived at our studio, and that whisper determined its destiny.
