My Precious

Not the “Lord of the Ring”, but my Dream Ring I love sapphires.  I come from the land of the gems, Burma, known for its variety of different gemstones.  I have always picked sapphire as my favorite gem.  I love blue sapphires and never thought that a yellow sapphire would be my favorite until I start working at the Natural Sapphire Company.  I wanted to have a natural yellow one for myself.  And so, I found my perfect 6.68ct. radiant cut, vivid yellow sapphire.

I decided to have this sapphire set in a custom ring that I would treasure for very long time. For a style, I wanted something simple and classic.  First, I considered making it into a solitaire ring, but I felt that would be too plain. I decided to go with a three stone classic ring.  Choosing the side stones was a  tough decision to make.  What shapes should I consider?  A large radiant cut like my stone can be set with halfmoon, radiant cut, trillion, trapezoid or baguette diamonds.  I compared the different side stones and I decided that I liked the tapered baguette the best. I hope you all like my beautiful, precious ring as much as I do.
