Kate Middleton And Princess Charlotte In Stylish Yellow Sapphires!
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were radiant as they emerged from St. Mary’s Hospital in London on May 2 to introduce their newborn baby girl to the world, Her Royal Highness, Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana of Cambridge. For the occasion, Kate Middleton wore a bespoke silk shift dress with buttercup print by Jenny Packham, which perfectly captured the mood of the springtime birth. We’ve chosen a few of our yellow sapphire jewels that we think would have been perfect accessories for such a significant moment. Plus, they could be future heirlooms from Kate to her daughter Charlotte.
Yellow Sapphire Earrings
With their floral design and cheery appearance, our yellow sapphire and diamond drop earrings complement beautifully the bright-yellow cup-shaped flowers on Kate’s dress. The earrings highlight two outstanding yellow sapphires with a natural hue, each just over a carat. Their clarity is perfection, which allows for an unobstructed view of the gems’ superior brilliant cut and highly rated color intensity. Surrounding each sapphire are 14 round diamonds outlined in white gold to look like petals, while an additional 14 round diamonds trace the French earwires for extra sparkle. The effect would have been truly enchanting glistening from within Kate’s famous flowing hair.
Yellow Sapphire Pendant
Calling to mind the warmth of spring and its promise of new life is our yellow sapphire pendant. It features at its center a glowing 1.28-carat natural yellow sapphire in the oval shape, with an intensely saturated hue and nearly internally flawless clarity, both unenhanced . Radiating from the center are 12 prong-set diamond “rays” in the sparkly round brilliant cut reminiscent of Kate’s engagement ring. Hanging from a delicate white gold chain, the dainty pendant would have added just the right touch of twinkle at the neckline of Kate’s dress.
Yellow Sapphire Bracelet
The three-quarter-length sleeves of Kate’s dress call for a statement bracelet, and we certainly have one to fit the bill. Our stunning yellow sapphire and diamond bracelet features nearly 34 carats of natural yellow sapphires with a highly saturated, enhanced hue, interspersed within a white gold framework set with hundreds of prong- and bezel-set diamonds weighing more than three carats. It’s as if the wild buttercup plant is peeking through a latticework fence, or, even more fittingly, we’ve paid homage to the brilliant ornate ironwork of Buckingham Palace itself.
Champagne Sapphire Ring
The royal birth is certainly a cause for celebration, making our “champagne” sapphire ring so appropriate. The natural sapphire, nearly two carats and with an enhanced hue, is fashioned in the radiant cut, which is a square shape with a brilliant-cut facet pattern applied to both the crown and pavilion for an effervescent effect. It also has cropped corners, making it a nice bridge between the cushion shape and princess cut. The diamond surround and crown-like basket setting crafted from white gold make its especially regal. It would have been a great right-hand ring choice to balance Kate’s celebrated blue sapphire and diamond engagement ring.
