Elizabeth Hurley’s Blue Sapphire Engagement Ring

Congratulations are in order for Elizabeth Hurley and Australian cricket player, Shane Warne.  The couple became engaged last Friday over dinner at the Old Course Hotel in St. Andrews, Scotland.

Warne, who was playing in the Alfred Dunhill Links Gold Championship, took Hurley on a romantic dinner date Friday evening.  Elizabeth had no idea that her beau of 10 months was going to pop the questions as they posed for a photo before dinner.

The next day on the links, Elizabeth was seen sporting a large blue sapphire engagement ring.  Her twitter confirmed the happy news.

Shane Warne presented his now-fiancée with a stunning step cut blue sapphire and diamond engagement ring.  We speculate that the center blue sapphire in Hurely’s engagement ring is about 9 carats. It is flanked by two trillion diamonds.
