Product description

This wedding set is conceived as a coordinated matching engagement ring and wedding band, engineered to produce a unified visual plane when worn together, with an emphasis on profile congruence and optical continuity. The engagement head sits on a low to medium gallery with an X shaped prong basket, machined to accept a range of center stone silhouettes while maintaining consistent seat geometry for perfect alignment with the companion band. Both rings are dimensioned so that the pavé rows line up precisely at the shoulder, eliminating gaps and rotational mismatch, and the inner shanks are contoured to the same radius so the set reads as a single, continuous piece on the finger. Tolerances in the mating surfaces are held to under one tenth of a millimeter during CAD development and final machining, ensuring that the pair nests without rocking or visual offset, and the crown height is set to a proportion that balances presence and wearability across settings for sapphire, ruby, emerald, or other gemstones.

The pavé execution is specified to maximize continuous sparkle while protecting the melee from abrasion, with stones selected and set according to exacting parameters. Typically the pavé stones are full cut round brilliants in diameter ranges from one point zero millimeters to one point six millimeters, corresponding to approximate weights between zero point zero one and zero point zero three carat per stone, depending on the chosen specification. Each seat is cut with a precision drill guided by micro indexed tooling, then inspected and adjusted by hand to create uniform crown exposure and consistent table alignment, yielding uninterrupted scintillation along the band. Stones for the pavé are recommended in near colorless grades for white metal settings and in slightly warmer grades for yellow or rose gold to achieve visual harmony, commonly within a G to H color range and VS to SI clarity for melee, however we accommodate higher color and clarity grades on request. The setting method utilizes shared bead and grain techniques, where beads are raised and burnished from the same barrel of metal that borders adjacent apertures, creating shared metal partitions that secure each stone while minimizing the metal visible between stones, this produces the seamless carpet of light that defines a high quality pavé.

This custom made setting is engineered to transform any selected center gemstone into an elegant and timeless masterpiece by addressing both optical and structural variables. For colored gemstones the bezel of design supports a variety of faceting strategies, with brilliant cuts recommended to amplify dispersion and scintillation for sapphires and rubies, and emerald cuts or step cuts suggested for emeralds when the goal is to emphasize color saturation and internal character. Cut proportions are considered in the mounting process so that pavilion angles and table size interact optimally with the surrounding pavé, preserving the center stone prestige while the pavé provides a halo of continuous light. Material choices span 14K Rose Gold, 18K Rose Gold, 10K Yellow Gold, 14K White Gold, 18K White Gold, 10K White Gold, 14K Yellow Gold, 18K Yellow Gold, Platinum 950, Silver, 14K Yellow and White, 18K Yellow and White, and each alloy is processed according to its metallurgical needs, with rhodium plating on white gold when requested to enhance brightness and protective polishing schedules for platinum to retain surface integrity while allowing a refined satin or high polish finish. Fabrication blends CNC precision with hand finishing, including cusp burnishing of beads, hand setting and final polish, so that technical accuracy meets artisan quality, and to ensure that any choice of center stone, whether a vivid sapphire, a saturated ruby, a lush emerald or a bespoke gemstone, is both visually amplified and mechanically secured, resulting in a wedding set that is both a technical achievement and an enduring symbol.
