Three Stone Pink Sapphire Ring 3.34 Ct., 10K White Gold

This pink sapphire began its life in the weathered soils and river gravels of Ceylon Sri Lanka, a place where ancient geology and monsoon rains conspire to reveal rare pockets of gem quality corundum. Our miners found the rough, and from that rough the stone was guided through the hands of cutters and polishers who sought to reveal its heart. The result is a transparent three point three four carat oval shape sapphire, measuring nine point seven six by seven point nine zero by five point two two millimeters, given a mixed brilliant cut to marry lively scintillation with a soft, silky body color. Evaluated at eye level the clarity is described as very slightly included, the color shows intense saturation, and the polish is excellent. Two white round natural diamonds, together weighing approximately zero point three two carats, sit as delicate companions, each graded very slightly included in clarity with qualities between VS1 and VS2, and a color grade of F. The entire composition rests in a refined platinum nine fifty setting which both protects and elevates the gem, showcasing the vivid pink against cool white metal.
