The result is a GIA certified Blue sapphire weighing 6.02 carats, shaped as an elegant oval with dimensions of 11.86 x 9.22 x 6.31 mm, cut in a mixed brilliant style to balance depth and fire, and finished to an excellent polish. Evaluated at eye level the stone is eye clean, showing no visible inclusions, and it exhibits vivid color saturation that speaks to its island origin. The sapphire has been heat treated in a stable and traditional manner to enhance its rich blue tone, a common practice that preserves natural beauty while improving clarity and color, and the gem was then set by hand into a 950 platinum mount that frames it with precision and enduring strength.
