Each diamond was hand matched and precisely set to dance in sympathy with the sapphire, and the 18K yellow gold mounting was shaped by master goldsmiths to create a warm frame that complements the blue center stone. The gallery under the halo was open worked and polished to allow light to play through the pavilion, while the prongs were formed to secure the sapphire with balance and finesse.
