Product description

From the earth to the neck, this necklace begins its story in deep geological time, where trace elements and heat coaxed blue sapphires into being. Gathered from natural deposits with respect for their origin, the trio of round mixed brilliant cut sapphires carry a dark, saturated blue that speaks of ancient seas and sky, their clarity graded very slightly included. Alongside them a quartet of white, round brilliant natural diamonds were born under pressure and patience, their H color and si2 clarity giving them a lively, honest sparkle. At The Natural Sapphire Company we honor these beginnings, and we let each stone keep a part of its history as we guide it from rough to refined.

Crafted in 14K white gold, the necklace measures 17 inches in length, a delicate line of metal that supports five points of light, three sapphires and four diamonds, arranged to balance color and fire. Each gemstone is individually set in refined white gold mounts that cradle the pavilion and leave the crown and facets free to drink in light, the mixed brilliant cuts of the sapphires designed to return deep blue flashes, while the white brilliant diamonds are positioned to catch and scatter light with spontaneous twinkle. The settings are intentionally minimal, positioned along the fine chain so that each gem moves slightly with the wearer, allowing passing light to travel through the stones, and enhancing the apparent size and brilliance beyond their modest total weight of 0.20 carats for the sapphires and 0.10 carats for the diamonds.

The result is a necklace that feels like a conversation between earth and hand, every setting and every link chosen to reveal the stones character, not to hide it. Worn alone it offers a refined whisper of color and fire, layered it becomes a chorus of light, and kept as an heirloom it carries the story of origin, craft, and care.
