I see what I like, but I'm not sure if I will want to keep it. What is your return policy? |

At The Natural Sapphire Company we make sure that all our customer
are satisfied customers. We offer a 5 day inspection period, and thereafter payment needs to be made.Returns after the 5 day inspection period can be returned for credit towards other purchases, as long as the item is not damaged in anyway.
If an item that you request requires more than a 5 day
inspection period, special circumstances and arrangements can be made, but it must be done prior to the
shipment of the item you request. |

What if I want to return an item that I have purchased? |

If you have purchased an item that you want to return you may do so within 5 days of receipt of the item. You must contact us within this time period to advise us of your return, and the item must be received by us by the 6th day after the purchase. All shipments in or out must be by Next Day Air Service through UPS, FedEx, DHL or other overnight carrier, where the package is signed for upon receipt and delivery.
Items returned MUST be in the same new condition as they were when they were delivered to you. We will NOT accept damaged items.
A refund will be issued within 3 days after we receive your return. If you paid by credit card, the charge will be credited back onto the card. If you paid by check or wire transfer a company check will be issued to the name on the account from which the purchase was made from.
Please note that special orders are not returnable in most cases, however, we do make exceptions.Normally we can not commit to taking a return on a special order. A special order / custom order is when we create something per the direction and design of the client. This in many cases is taking our many loose sapphires and creating a piece of jewelry out of it, such as a ring. Please contact us if you have a specific question on returns that may not be covered here. |

What does "Status: Out on Request" mean? |
| A. |
"Out on Request" means that the item is not actually in our factory available for immediate delivery. It is out on a preview with another client. The item may not sell and could return to "In House" status within a short period of time. You can still select to "Purchase" and go through the steps of buying the item, but it will not ship immediately, and may not actually be returned to complete a sale with you. If this is the case then we will contact you to let you know that the transaction has been voided.
If you are extremely interested in purchasing an item that has an "Out on Request" status you should go through the "Purchase" process online, this way you will have the top priority of receiving the item if it becomes available.
You can also choose to click on "Inquire" and request that when the item becomes available you be contacted. As always, you are welcome to call us to get the exact details on the status of any of our items for immediate assistance. |

What does "Status: In House" mean? |

"In House" means that the item is available for immediate sale and delivery. If you would like to purchase it you can select "Purchase" and follow through with the payment details. Your item will be sent Next Day Air as usual. |

Jewelry suggestions: What is it and how does this work? |

Jewelry Suggestions are the various examples of what we can make with our loose sapphires. Our loose sapphires are the back bone of our business. We try to focus all our buying into the rare sapphires that we offer for sale. We always try to have a lot more of a selection of sapphires in our loose stone categories than we do within our jewelry categories. We can at any time make mountings for our sapphires but we have a very difficult time replacing the fine and rare sapphires. Rather than make so many finished jewelry items we try to keep our focus on having the greatest selection of loose sapphires that can then be made per our customers' orders into finished jewelry.
In order for our customers to have ideas, examples and costs of making a finished piece of jewelry, we have created a large database of the jewelry that we have made with our loose sapphires over the years. You can easily browse many types of jewelry designs that can be made from any of the loose stones that you admire. You can also see the approximate cost to make up the particular mounting / jewelry with the sapphire you would like to use.
This puts all the design and control at your finger tips. You can see the quality of what you can expect from each "Jewelry Suggestion" |

What if I want to see more than one item, but only intend on
purchasing one item? Can I have more than one item to preview? |

If you see more than one item that you want shipped to you, it is advisable that you call us directly to discuss special terms with the items you wish to see. Please do not purchase multiple items online that you do not intend to buy, rather call us to go over the options. Yes, we will usually ship more than one item out to compare in person.

Can I visit your office in person? Where are you located? |

We welcome visitors to our cutting factory and offices at anytime during normal business hours. We are not a "retail store" Our offices are not an official "show room" but we can show any interested person our sapphires and sapphire jewelry if they wish to come by and meet with us in person.
There are strict security measures to enter our building and our offices.
You must call ahead to make an appointment.
You must bring photo ID.
You should be willing to submit to metal detector testing.
All video and audio is recorded from the lobby of our building and throughout our offices.
Safety and security is our absolute top priority with all our visitors, new and old clients alike. |

Can I really trust what I see online for sale as accurate and fairly represented? |

It is completely understandable to be concerned with the accuracy of color and clarity of the items that we show online. Of course we want what you see online to be the same when you see it in person. An issue can occur that we have no control over, and that is your monitor color and brightness settings. Each monitor has different settings, and there is no uniform standard in brightness or color tone in monitor settings. We use very high quality monitors in our office and we make sure that when we photograph any of our items that they match in person with what is seen on our monitor screens.

We actually have many different types of monitors in our office and we compare pictures on all of them before we release pictures of an item online. We try to make sure that the color and brightness intensity are all similar within the monitors that we use.
Not all monitors are created equal! This is important to remember when viewing any item.
We never try to misrepresent any of our items. Our liberal return policy gives more than adequate time for you to preview and enjoy your purchase with a reasonable amount of time to return it if you like. If you are concerned with something you see maybe being a slight tone of color different in person, you should not worry about being able to return it if you are not satisfied in any way.

Shipping, Insurance and Liability: |

If for any reason you decide to return an item, you may return it within 5 days after delivery for a full refund, less shipping and insurance which are not refundable. We require you to contact us if you wish to return an item. Instructions are sent with the shipment detailing the return shipping instructions.
Items must be returned in the same condition as they were sent. If the item is damaged in anyway it will not be accepted for a refund. While you have possession of any item you are fully responsible for its value and care. It is NOT insured after you have signed for it by the shipping carrier, therefore it is your full responsibility and liability while the item is in your possession to keep it safe and in good care.

For loose stones: They will not be accepted for a refund if they have been mounted, scratched, polished, chipped, fractured, weigh differently or have been altered in any way whatsoever. We strongly recommend that you do not mount your gemstone until you fully intend to purchase it.
Please do not write any words on the package shipping label that in any way allude to the contents of the package such as gems, sapphire or jewelry, in order to deter potential theft of an item while in transit. Follow the exact details on how to return items as detailed on the return shipping instructions form that came with your delivery.

Domestic (within the continental United States):
UPS and Federal Express shipments are sent NEXT DAY AIR, SIGNATURE REQUIRED for all orders to confirmed addresses ONLY, no exceptions. We will not send anything to a non-confirmed address. All client details must match with credit card authorizations. Shipments placed on Friday will have an optional delivery for Saturday or the following Monday.
High Value Shipping (over $75,000) is sent by armored delivery at prices subject to the armored carriers fees and availability of your location. Schedules for armored delivery vary with location, please contact us to discuss shipping by armored carrier.
You can expect that once an item is shipped, it will arrive at its destination before 12:00 pm noon the next day except for Alaska & Hawaii which typically arrive within 2 days. All deliveries are made to street addresses only. P.O. Boxes are not accepted as shipping destinations. |

International Shipments |

We ship worldwide on a daily basis. UPS, FedEx, DHL, and other international carriers reach most parts of the world within 2- 3 working days, and at a relatively low cost. Most destinations around the world will incur shipping costs of only $65 - $140. International shipments are subject to higher shipping costs and conditions, depending on the city and country.
Items over $1,000 can only be shipped via UPS. We unfortunately cannot ship to military PO boxes.
Authorizations and confirmation of credit cards validity is not always possible when shipping to international destinations, and in some cases bank wire transfer payments must be received before an item is shipped. Our refund policies apply regardless if payment is secured by a direct wire transfer or verified by credit card authorization for international shipments. |
