I few weeks ago I have received a job order to make a two tone ring for a beautiful yellow sapphire. It was not the typical ring order, such as pave or 3 stone sapphire ring, that I usually receive. I was a bit curious about how the ring is going to turn out. As you can see, this contemporary ring design stands out as a unique and elegant engagement ring.

The ring that has been in the news this week is of course Angelina Jolie’s beautiful diamond engagement ring.
Admittedly here at The Natural Sapphire Company we would love it even more if it were a sapphire!
We certainly can design a ring with the stunning architecture reminiscent of Angelina’s striking ring with the sapphire of your choice.
The image below on a computer generated hand model, not me for a change, shows the clean lines of this emerald cut blue sapphire center stone with baguette diamonds.

I have always loved the purity of this style. The diamonds highlight the beauty of the blue sapphire alllowing it to truly take center stage.
The Natural Sapphire Company was ahead of the curve when we created this stunning ring with a 4.39 ct blue sapphire and baguette diamonds in 2010.

We currently have a scaled down version J2981 in our inventory. This stunning 1.13 ct blue sapphire with .48 cts of diamonds is reasonably priced at $3,000. What a small price to pay for a ring that will make you feel like a movie star of the calibre of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt!

We at the Natural Sapphire Company have always had a very strong web presence. Partly due to the extremely tech savvy NSC staff but mostly because of the awesome reviews throughout the web from our satisfied customers (like this one) As we continue to grow, so do the number of ways our customers can easily discover our latest sapphire jewelry designs and share their feedback on our products. While many of our earlier customers used to find us through search engines or word of mouth, and communicate with us via our company website, we have been noticing that we get a lot of sales and much appreciated customer feedback from thousands of happy natural sapphire buyers connected with us via our official Twitter account and the official Facebook page. And it gives us immense pleasure to see our beloved customers keeping in touch with us across these social platforms.
We do enjoy where the social web is taking us as individuals. But we absolutely LOVE where it is taking our company and how it improves communication with our customers, furthermore, how it enables us to have much stronger customer relationships in a way that makes us all feel more “Natural”.
Now that we’re even more connected across the social web, we will continue to stay on top of the latest happenings on the web and find the best ways to connect with our customers. If you have connected with us via the Natural Sapphire Company website or been following our updates via RSS, you might find that connecting with us through our facebook page or following @NaturalSapphire on twitter would work even better for you. I’m tired of beautiful jewelry always being termed an “accessory”. It should be the centerpiece, the main attraction, the very heart of the outfit. So I decided to go to one of my favorite websites, Polyvore, to find a look to “accessorize” this gorgeous cognac sapphire ring.

The Super Bowl is an iconic event in America.
It’s our modern day gladiator world championships. You can imagine in ancient Rome the crowd being as crazy for their favorite warriors as our fans are for the New York Giants.
And what is the final reward for the winner? A sapphire ring!

Thousands of years ago sapphires were prized possessions of Kings, Queens and heroic individuals.
Today and tomorrow this fascination with natural sapphires from the earth will be held as our most precious possessions.

Sapphire rings make great everyday rings because of the amazing durability of sapphires. Ranked second behind diamonds on the Mohs scale of hardness, sapphires are not easily chipped, scratched, or broken. Sapphire rings are an excellent option for people who are harder on their jewelry or work with their hands.
We have a number of petite round sapphire rings that make for perfect stacking rings. We can also create a custom set of sapphire stacking rings to suit your design ideas or color palette. Wear them one at a time or all at once!

J3197 is the perfect blue sapphire stacking ring. Petite and simple, it looks great alone or with other rings.

J1605 is a perfect light yellow sapphire ring. With 6 prongs this yellow sapphire ring’s setting is classic perfection.

Nobody said stacking rings have to be round! J1661 is a lovely pear shaped pink sapphire.

Recently, we have added more untreated natural sapphires and sapphire jewelry to our ever growing selections of sapphire inventory. Among them, I would like to highlight a couple beautiful sapphire bracelets which we are still in the process of putting up on our web site. One of the bracelets has a series of beautiful blue sapphires and yellow diamonds set alternatively and the other one has pink sapphires and yellows diamonds set alternatively.

If you have a particular bracelet design in your mind, we would like to put your thoughts and ideas into reality.

Diamonds are generally considered a women’s best friend. It’s unusual for a man to consider using a diamond for a men’s ring.
Sapphire rings for men can be very masculine, very mature and very stylish.
One of the most famous men of our time wears one of the largest sapphire rings I’ve ever seen.
Arnold Schwarzenegger is probably one of the strongest men and power of our modern times.
He’s a former Mr. Universe, athlete, movie star, governor, and political power house.
His blue sapphire ring is very fitting, it adds to his karma and beyond.

Our blue sapphire rings can add more power and emotion to your life!

Wedding bands are very special. Most men do not own much jewelry, so their wedding bands are often the only jewelry they wear. It is important to have something that will suite their tastes and still be comfortable enough to wear every day.
Now days, there are so many wedding band designs in different metal types to choose from.
I wrote about one of my suggestions for an engagement ring, JS467, in a previous blog. I mentioned that we can create this as a “his and hers” wedding set. So here it is!

Even if you don’t have the exact engagement ring to match, we can still make a wedding set for the very special bride and groom. We can give you a unique and elegant design to compliment your engagement ring.

Pink is a bright color that always adds a touch of excitement! This vibrant pink sapphire has a sensual color set off by the pure white diamonds on either side of the sapphire.
The impressive 9 ct pink sapphire ring exudes confidence and passion. It is well known that there link between color and mood, however scientists even say that color and personalities are linked. People who love the color pink are generally friendly and open individuals. The generous and warmth of spirit associated with this color has been known throughout the ages. This particular sapphire’s depth of color and rich hue make it not only ideal in gemological terms, but also one of the most fabulous rings in our inventory.
I love the size of this ring. It is striking without being overwhelming and perfectly proportionate. This ring has an everlasting beauty that would suit any wearer.
Pink is not just little girls now after seeing this amazing ring!

If you are looking for a truly one of a kind sapphire, this gorgeous 6.18ct natural untreated bluish green modified pear cut Montana sapphire is a rare beauty. Unlike the usual pear cut this stone combines the rounded edges with straight sides to create a very striking and unique cut. The faceting and superior clarity of this stone also allows for the alluring bluish green color saturation to reflect back to eye in a dazzling display of brilliance and sparkle. To top everything off, it is exceptionally rare to find untreated Montana sapphires over 3cts making this American made stunner simply extraordinary.

Love this exquisite sapphire but not exactly sure what kind of custom piece of sapphire jewelry to create? Below is an elegant custom necklace with flowing lines and pave diamonds that really help to accentuate the natural beauty of this superb stone. You want a sapphire like this to remain the focal point of the piece and this chic setting style houses the gem beautifully and enhances the sapphire.

Of course this is not the only setting option available for this fine quality sapphire. Many other custom necklace and ring settings are available options and our sales assistants will help you every step of the way to create the sapphire jewelry piece you desire.

We have been getting in so many new rubies lately. Our general process is to have each Ruby evaluated by a Gemologist (usually me) and then checked by the Senior Gemologist. I can’t help but be amazed by the natural Ruby selection we have been receiving.
Fine rubies have been scarce as of late, even more so if they are unheated. In order to offer our customers the widest selection possible, we’ve started including some heat treated Rubies on our website, particularly if they originated from Burma (Mynmar), a country known for their exquisite Rubies.
Here are a couple of my favorites from the new stock:

1.07 Cushion Cut, UNHEATED Burmese Ruby

2.02 Oval, Heat Treated Burmese Ruby

2.53 Cushion Cut, Heat Treated Burmese Ruby

This Burmese blue sapphire ring is truly one of the most magnificent rings in our inventory! I am sure it is not a secret to frequent visitors of our website that this stunning ring J96 has been featured in many of our ad campaigns.
It is certainly no wonder, as this ring is a timeless classic. The refined platinum setting and half moon diamond side stones highlight the natural beauty of this extraordinary sapphire.
To find a Burmese blue sapphire of this impressive size of 9.16 carats is a true rarity. The clean and elegant lines of this ring coupled with the velvety, royal blue color tone of the sapphire make it one of my personal favorites.
This ring is a true thing of beauty and will be a joy forever to the fortunate owner of this ring.
